I am 27, originally from Haiti and currently living in Boston. I love traveling, making music and playing soccer. Most of my friends would describe me as the most caring one of the group or the funniest one.

My UX journey

After 8 years in retail management, I decided to become a UX Designer and use the skills I've acquired throughout the years to help me become a great designer. A career switch is never easy, especially after seven years in one industry, but I realized that UX design is what I want to do. After doing some research, I found out about the 'Google UX Designer Professional Certificate' by Google. It took over 3 months of rigorous training and dedication to obtain my certificate and I can finally say I'm ready to leave the retail world behind.

I am currently enrolled in UX Academy by Designlab and got the Foundations Certificate through their course. I plan on continuing their program and obtain my UX Academy Certificate through them.

I can't wait to get out there and share my designs with others, collaborate on projects with teams and offer a great experience to users :)
